Hey there Jeff!
I was looking for blogs with some writer info, and I stumbled upon yours! I see that you're an aspiring writer; that's always a cool spot to be in. I just recently became a YA author, and I'm here to tell you that being that aspiring writer/author is definitely possible!! :) Hope you check out the link at the bottom!

God bless,
Taylor J. Beisler

I've actually only read the Stephen King collection, will have to pick up the rest. You should post this on my site, there are a ton of people who can't get enough weird stories. I believe this list needs more exposure.

Yes, judging from our contact at the convention, he really is a great guy, and entertaining. He must have been exhausted after those three days.

I'm afraid I have not read much of his fiction. I don't read much epic fantasy, being more of a hard-SF guy, so we haven't crossed paths too often. I did read the first of his Bronze Canticle series, and have loaded his reading of his novel called "The Immortals" into my iPod - eager to get at it, but it's a few books down the TBR list. I also bought a paperback of Dragons of the Autumn Twilight because it's so highly recommended.

At that same convention, he gave a most inspiring presentation on the relationship between the reader and the writer. I hope he someday makes that available in some format.

I wish I'd been in that audience. Tracy Hickman seems like one great person. I really need to pick up some of his non-Dragonlance books. Suggestions?
